Terms of Service

Last updated: 16 August 2026 Governing law: United Kingdom Welcome to ink-map.io. Ink-Map provides online booking and management tools for tattoo artists. By accessing or using Ink-Map’s site or services, you agree to these Terms. Scope of Service Ink-Map offers booking, diary, enquiry, client-management, payment-request, and related business tools for tattoo artists and their clients. We may update, restrict, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. User Accounts To use Ink-Map, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Ink-Map is intended for users 18 years or older, or for younger users only with parental or guardian permission where lawful. Artist and Client Relationship Tattoo artists using Ink-Map are independent service providers. Ink-Map is not the tattoo service provider, studio, agent, employer, or client representative. Artists are responsible for the tattoo services they offer, their booking terms, client communication, health and safety obligations, licensing, insurance, tax obligations, refunds, disputes, and compliance with applicable laws. Payments and Subscriptions Some Ink-Map features require a subscription. Subscription payments are processed by our payment providers and renew automatically until cancelled. Refunds for Ink-Map subscriptions are at our discretion unless required by law. Artist Payment Requests and Stripe Connect Ink-Map may allow artists to connect a Stripe Express account and send deposit or balance payment requests to clients. These client payments are processed by Stripe and routed to the artist’s connected Stripe account, less Stripe processing fees and any Ink-Map platform fee shown or described in the product. For artist-requested booking payments, Ink-Map facilitates the payment request and platform fee collection only. Ink-Map does not hold itself out as the tattoo service provider and does not guarantee the artist’s services, appointment availability, outcome, refund decision, or dispute response. The client’s payment obligation, cancellation rights, refund eligibility, and service expectations are between the client and the artist, subject to applicable law and any terms agreed between them. Ink-Map fees for artist-requested Stripe deposit payments are deducted from the artist payout and are not added to the deposit amount shown to the client unless the product explicitly states otherwise. Stripe fees are set by Stripe and may change. Artists are responsible for reviewing Stripe’s connected-account terms, completing required verification, maintaining payout eligibility, and handling any chargebacks, disputes, reversals, negative balances, or tax reporting connected with their payments. Refunds, Chargebacks, and Disputes Artists are responsible for deciding and processing refunds for their own booking payments, subject to applicable law and their agreed client terms. If a client raises a chargeback or payment dispute, the artist is responsible for providing evidence and may be liable for dispute fees, reversals, or negative balances applied by Stripe. Ink-Map may assist with technical records where available but is not responsible for resolving service disputes between artists and clients. Acceptable Use You agree not to misuse Ink-Map. Illegal activities, fraud, spam, harassment, misleading listings, unsafe conduct, or infringing content are prohibited. You must comply with all laws, including data protection laws, when using Ink-Map. Content Standards Anything you upload or write on Ink-Map, including profile text, gallery and artwork images, enquiry messages, and attachments, must not be indecent, sexually explicit, obscene, violent, hateful, discriminatory, harassing, threatening, defamatory, deceptive, or unlawful. You must not upload images of identifiable people without their permission, images of minors in a tattoo or intimate context, or any content you do not own or have the right to use. Reporting and Moderation Users can report messages, images, and profiles they believe breach these Terms. Reports are reviewed by our team, who may hide or remove content, or take no action where the content does not breach these Terms. To protect the privacy of everyone involved, we do not share the outcome of a report with the person who submitted it. We may suspend or close accounts that repeatedly or seriously breach these standards. Intellectual Property All content on ink-map.io, including text, graphics, logos, interface design, and code, is owned by Ink-Map or its licensors. You may not copy or distribute it without permission. If you submit content, such as images, profile text, enquiry messages, or booking information, you retain ownership but grant Ink-Map a licence to use it to operate and improve the service. Third-Party Services Ink-Map integrates with third-party services such as Stripe, mapping providers, email infrastructure, and analytics or operational tools. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Ink-Map is not responsible for third-party service availability, verification decisions, fee changes, payout delays, or account restrictions. Disclaimer of Warranty and Liability Ink-Map is provided “as is” without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ink-Map is not liable for indirect or consequential damages from use of the service, loss of profits, loss of bookings, payment provider decisions, disputes between artists and clients, or the quality or delivery of tattoo services. Account Termination We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create risk for Ink-Map or users, misuse payment tools, or engage in abuse. Upon termination, your account access may end, although some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, security, or operational reasons.
